Let us end the week with bold brush strokes and subtle-toned garments, the perfect mix! Yes?! One of my goals (I don’t call them dreams anymore, otherwise they’ll never happen!) is to collaborate with a brand of sorts to create a collection inspired by the work of up-and-coming artists. Ah, can you imagine? I’ll keep banging this drum until that goal finally gets crossed in my bucket list.

Oh the love of vintage cameras. Who can deny it. Bulky, beautiful and hard working. Sounds almost like a hot date, no? Well, actually you could turn it into a hot date if you pair that handsome Kodak Brownie camera with that vintage-looking coat. Yeah, looks like a picture out of the Wonder Years!

Styled by Art yo! I’m actually quite stoked to bring this column back to the blog. Here’s a little secret about myself (ah! ring the blogger-talking-about-himself alarm), some time ago I was working full-time in the Culinary Arts world; long days, lots of cuts and burns, and a cardboard cutout chef’s outfit ruled my life. I was all about the “oh, why you dress up if you’re gonna take it off at night anyways”.

Now that I do something completely different, I realized you really don’t have to look like a slob. Unless you truly want to be one. Well, during my 9-5 I do pull the mexi-boho look (aka – my hair is a bird’s nest and I have pillow marks on my face), BUT I am a showered human being on the weekends. A human being that enjoys dressing up like an adult (and really digs all the online shopping associated with it). I thought to myself – hey, if I get inspired by art to style myself, why not sharing it with all of you? Well, here it is – the most stylish baby to ever come out of the online-shopping-pinteresting vagina: Styled by Art.
